Insights:
The estate works with modern wine making equipment. A hundred French oak barrels are used for aging white and red. The duration of this varies between 6 to 24 months, depending on the cuvées. The barrels are made by Seguin Moreaux, with a long history in cooperage dating back to 1838 and these days producing barrels for wineries around the world. The French ones are made from oak from the tallest trees, exclusively from the national forests, regulated by the O.N.F. (National Forest Office). They choose individual trees, aged between 150 – 200 years old, with a diameter between 50-80 centimetres.
