Insights:
Within Castel’s ranges, they have a wine for all tastes and it’s part of their ‘Des vins pour tous les goûts’. Pays’Oc (an IGP, formerly known as Vin de Pays) is among the most popular French regional wines, covering all vineyards of the Languedoc-Roussillon. Here the IGP’s are 60% of the region’s production and form 60% of the French IGP’s, whilst it is also the most exported regional wine with around 20% of France’s exported wines. IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée) is in between Vin de Table and AOC and is a classification also often used in other European countries.
