The vineyard has a total of 110 hectares, of which 75 ha. are holding vines. 39 Ha. in the Côtes du Rhône appellation, 34 ha. in the Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation and the rest is bottled as table wine. The word cuvée means that it is a specific batch, obviously still within the AOC regulations. Château La Borie, ‘historically’, has been linked to the nearby Château Suze, which is well known as a tourist attraction. Wine making in the region goes back to Roman times. The Rhône river is approx. 10 kilometres to the west. Many estates in the region are ‘Domaines’, followed by the name.
