Introduction
Traditionally made and aged in oak, by Mr. Charlassier. The different Châteaux each have their own identity, very much a result of terroir variations in the area.

Blaye is a village on the right bank of the Gironde estuary. An area often mentioned in one breath, Bourg and Blaye; in the early days producing wine before Medoc started, but in the olden days lack of access to the port of Blaye set them back. Within the Bordeaux region an area that is now upcoming, producing value for money.

SCEA du Château Cazeaux is its formal name, standing for Société Civile d’Exploitation Agricole, meaning a company based on a partnership. The château is part of Châteaux Solidaires, a group of regional wine makers that came together in 1937, to share resources, such as knowledge, production and storage. 20 Wine makers are now part of this club, based on quality and solidarity.
