They have their own (chalky soil) vineyards with south-facing slopes, grow also Pinot Meunier and produce annually ca. 100.000 bottles.

Insights:
Under the Champagne Roualet brand they make Champagne Roualet - Père et Fils (marketed as such since 1945), Champagne Fabrice Roualet, since 2000 and Champagne Roualet-Crochet (founded in 1920), each with their own range. This one, the Brut, Grande Réserve’, is presented in its unusual bottle, stays a minimum of 36 months ‘on the lees’ and is rested at least 3 months after the ‘dégorgement’. The family name derives from the word ROUALE, which means a small pick used to plant vines.
