Searching wine in France

September 2017 is no exception for stocking up with wine, whilst in France. The different wine fayres across the various outlets seemed to increase year on year. I had to miss out on some! A shame, however, nevertheless, great fun again!

Most of them are 2016 releases, which will have to be racked for a while. The search for other French regions, AOC’s, continued this year. This time obtained wines from St. Chinian, Faugères, Tavel, Bandol, Saint-Pourçain, Madiran, Côteaux Bourguignon, Blaye, Côteaux du Loir, Corsica; just to mention a few.

A number of these are to be reviewed in the weekly wine reviews on The Dutchman’s website in the future. They will be mixed in with other wines from around the world, as well as being used perhaps for the various wine tastings coming up in 2017 and 2018.
