This time it was again for covering the holidays. In the meantime, more importantly, the owners were on a well deserved break enjoying the Mediterranean sun!
So, where did this holiday cover at Cumbrian Hotel take place? It was a local, small and great hotel in the Lake District.
It was a great and enjoyable time for me, with satisfied hotel and restaurant guests from around the world. Furthermore, it was live-in, 24/7 very hands-on, whilst working together the hotel’s small team! The management cover was well prepared beforehand, with an in-depth handover, before and after.
On a day-to-day basis I assisted e.g. in breakfast, dinner and bar service, checking-in and out of guests, daily administration and reservations for rooms and the restaurant.
