Château Cazeaux
Château Cazeaux
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
A Grand Vin de Bordeaux, Blaye region, an award winning winery in the village of St Paul and part of a group of cooperating Châteaux, all in Blaye
France, Château Cazeaux, Grand Vin de Bordeaux, Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux AC, 2012

Traditionally made and aged in oak, by Mr. Charlassier. The different Châteaux each have their own identity, very much a result of terroir variations in the area.

Blaye is a village on the right bank of the Gironde estuary. An area often mentioned in one breath, Bourg and Blaye; in the early days producing wine before Medoc started, but in the olden days lack of access to the port of Blaye set them back. Within the Bordeaux region an area that is now upcoming, producing value for money.
