On behalf of a client, we are currently looking to recruit a Housekeeper and a Head Housekeeper to join the team. Property: small hotel with self catering units, South Cumbria – live out.
A short description:
The Housekeeper must be hard working, maintain high standards and be able to take supervision.
The Head Housekeeper, whilst being hands-on, will have experience in a management/supervisory role and be responsible for the effective running of the housekeeping and laundry department. This includes maintaining stock levels and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel and the self catering properties, as well as training and supervising a small team. Attention to detail and the ability to use initiative are essential.
Duties will include : Servicing rooms, self catering units and public areas; Laundry and stock checks; Supervising other staff; Other duties may be requested to ensure the smooth running of the business (hotel); Checking-in guests and taking bookings; Waiting on at breakfast.
Requires a flexible approach and a pro-active attitude, all within a pleasant working environment.
Training will be given.
Good rates of pay (negotiable dependent on experience), 28 Annual holidays, Uniform provided, Free meals on duty. Position open to a couple.
